‘Afternoon Tea at Evergreen’ is back

The Dartmouth Heritage Museum is pleased to announce the return of its popular weekly afternoon teas for the summer of 2018. It wouldn’t be summer in Dartmouth without them!

Starting Friday, June 8 guests will enjoy a classic Victorian pastime at the majestic and historic Dartmouth landmark, Evergreen House. The menu includes freshly baked cookies and scones complete with jam, cream cheese, and, of course, piping hot tea. They will be served in the Green Parlour at Evergreen which overlooks Halifax Harbour.

Afternoon Tea at Evergreen runs weekly, with two sittings – 1:30 and 3:00 pm. Tickets are $12.00 each for adults and $5.00 for children. They can be purchased online here or by calling 902-464-2300.

Space is limited for each sitting so reservations are recommended.

Tickets include admission to Evergreen House and a complimentary guided tour. As a special two-for-one offer this summer, tickets to tea also include admission to Quaker House, the oldest standing building in Dartmouth, redeemable within a week of purchase.
