On Wednesday, May 31 you’re invited to the historic Dartmouth landmark, Evergreen House at 26 Newcastle Street in Dartmouth, for free guided tours that will include our current exhibits: The Watercolours of W.R. Symons, Rare Dartmouth Maps. The Carriage Room Photography Studio, the Red Parlour, the Green Parlour, and the Helen Creighton Room.
You will also enjoy the splendor that is Evergreen, a large majestic Victorian-style home overlooking Halifax Harbour, the longtime residence of Nova Scotia’s lady of folklore Helen Creighton which now serves as headquarters of the Dartmouth Heritage Museum.
We’ll be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All are welcome.
