Dinner and a Show to Help DHM

The Dartmouth Heritage Museum Society is delighted to announce we’ve partnered with the Port Wallis Players for a special fundraising performance of their 2019 season dinner theatre show, On a Wing or a Prayer. A percentage of the proceeds from their February 1 performance will go to support the Dartmouth Heritage Museum.

Join the Port Wallis Players on February 1 at 7:00 pm for a delicious three-course meal and a chuckle (or groan) inducing show. On a Wing or a Prayer is a four act comedy dinner theatre penned by Melanie Keddy and adapted by the Port Wallis Players.  The play takes a group of passengers on a plane ride to Hawaii eventually, on the newest ultra-low cost carrier “Looney Air”.  Through Security, onto the plane and eventually through customs you’ll follow a dysfunctional group of folks as they deal with a saucy flight attendant and a captain of questionable ability.  A big time film producer, a lovelorn lady and two squabbling couples round out the cast.  Along with the scripted dialogue there are always a few surprises along the way.  The show also features the cast performing several popular musical numbers.

The performance will be held at Port Wallis United Church, located at 263 Waverley Road, Dartmouth.
