Starting Tuesday, April 16th 2019, the upper level of Evergreen House will be closed to the public due to painting and construction work.
This means that the current exhibit Explosion! Dartmouth’s Ordeal of the 1917 Disaster, will be unavailable for visitors until the work is completed.
However, the rest of the museum will remain open to the public. We encourage visitors to see our newest permanent exhibit: Helen Creighton and the World of Folklore, which is on the main floor of Evergreen House.
Evergreen House will be closed for Good Friday, April 19th.
If there are any inquiries relating to the opening hours of Evergreen House, please contact our Manager/Curator Terry Eyland, or our Collections Manager Shannon Baxter
