Join us at Quaker House Museum for a workshop on traditional herb drying, and plant your own herbs to bring home!

Interested in learning how to dry your own fresh herbs? Want to ensure they are safely stored and preserved? Sign up for one of our five sessions between Saturday June 29th and Sunday June 30th to participate in a traditional herb drying workshop and demonstration. Each session will end with a seed planting activity, where participants plant an herb seed of their choosing and learn how to care for it. The event also includes take-home instructions with notes on traditional herb drying practices, and recommendations for growing each seedling.

The workshop time slots are:

June 29th:

  • 10:00am – 10:45am
  • 11:00am – 11:45am
  • 12:00pm – 12:45pm (tickets sold here are for the 10:00am timeslot)

June 30th:

  • 2:00pm – 2:45pm
  • 3:00pm – 3:45pm

There is limited availability for tickets during each time slot, so make sure to order your tickets as soon as possible. All proceeds from the ticket sales help support the museum and allow us to host more events for the community. Thank you for your support, and we hope to see you there.
